No doubt A Bathing Ape is the most influential and best streetwear brand ever in Japan. The Nigo designer started in 1993 with some shirts and hoodies, coupled with Bapesta sneakers. His most phenomenal work is of course his typical camo pattern that became booming, and took over the Japanese streetwear market in the 2000s.
A Bathing Ape consistently provides an exclusive model and is supported by several collaboration products made limited edition. With prints and big print logos and used by Kanye West and Pharell William, everyone would want to. But because it is limited that few can get Bape and keep him hunted.
Unfortunately, A Bathing Ape has overhyped, and made it sold to Hong Kong IT Group in 2011. Bape is one brand that is often used as a reference, no streetwear brand in the world that can claim not affected by Bape.
